Caleb McGuire
My name is Caleb McGuire and I have worked inside of the SUNY system since 2017 in various roles including: Admissions Counselor, Assistant Director of Admissions before joining Morrisville as the Director of Admissions. I consider myself a progressive higher education professional where your success as a student will always be the number one priority for myself and the rest of the team here at SUNY Morrisville!
My passion for higher education began at St. Bonaventure University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Communication. It was there that I began to develop strong leadership skills and commitment to teamwork which inspired my interest in building teams and managing projects. After completing my undergraduate degree, I went on to earn a Master's in Management from Keuka College while concurrently working in admissions. Throughout my career I have committed myself to the idea that student success begins well before a student enrolls into any classes. I believe that higher education is a powerful tool for social and economic mobility, and that it is the responsibility of institutions to ensure that students have access to the resources and support they need to achieve their goals.
When I leave work, you might hear me describe myself as a music lover, creative-thinker, coffee aficionado and gym addict. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing students walk across the stage at graduation that I might have met at their local high school or at college fair well before they were ever a Mustang, knowing that I played a small part in helping them achieve their dreams.
If you see me on campus, please do not hesitate to say hello! Just look for the tall guy that always wears a turtleneck with a blazer!
Jay Beckwith
Hello! I am Jonathan Beckwith, but I go by Jay. I am originally from Edmeston, NY, but have moved around in New York. I grew up in a military family, later serving in the military myself. I love to meet new people, which is something that I love about being in the Office of Admissions.
I graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2018 with a Bachelors degree in History. After graduation I went on to further my education and obtained my Masters Degree in Museum Studies. After separating from the military, I was unsure about what I wanted to do as a career. Through some trial and error, I essentially fell into an admissions position and never looked back. I enjoy helping people further their careers and meeting the goals that each person sets for themselves.
On my off time I enjoy playing many sports, spending time with family and being outdoors. I love to travel, and have many places on my list that I hopefully want to make it to one day.
Lisa A. Godfrey
I am from Clifton Park, NY, and earned my Bachelor Degree in Visual Communications from Cazenovia College.
I visit students from the Northeastern region of New York. One of the many hats I wear in the Admissions Office is managing our Tour Guide program. This area of my job is very rewarding because I have the opportunity to know the students on a personal level. I assist them in finding internships and jobs and learn more about their specific majors through their adventures in class. I have watched many students grow professionally, graduate, and jump into their careers. I am always proud to watch the students who work in our office walk across the stage during graduation.
SUNY Morrisville is a hidden gem in the middle of the state where you can find students delivering foals, making cheese curd and ice cream, growing lettuce through aquaponics, rebuilding transmissions, and creating new computer games. Many more of these adventures are offered through the diverse programs offered at SUNY Morrisville.
I enjoy being outdoors, golfing, hiking, gardening, camping. I love spending time with my husband and two boys.

Veronica Gonzalez
Greetings! I grew up in New York City and moved to Oxford, NY with my husband and three young daughters in 2005. I earned my Associate Degree from the SUNY Morrisville Norwich campus in 2012. It was extremely difficult being a full-time student, working full-time, and taking care of my family but I was determined to be the first in my family with a college degree.
I wanted to continue my education and having experienced Morrisville at the Norwich campus I applied to SUNY Morrisville’s bachelor's program. As an adult student the transition was made easy with the help from some amazing professors at SUNY Morrisville. I am proud to say I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2022.
I am excited to be part of the SUNY Morrisville community.
Isabella Lambert
Hello! My name is Isabella Lambert, and I grew up in small town Fort Plain, NY and have lived in New York my entire life.
I was the first in my family to go to college, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from SUNY ESF in Syracuse, NY. After college, I worked in plant research and found a passion for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. My goal is to best support historically underrepresented, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and Women find their path in STEM and all higher education programs.
In my free time I enjoy reading, playing piano, spending time with my family, making candles, and learning new things!
