Environmental Conservation & Renewable Energy

You’ve got the whole world in your hands.

With academic programs in aquaculture & aquatic science, environmental & natural resource conservation, horticulture, renewable energy and renewable resources, you will find your natural fit at SUNY Morrisville.

When the outdoors is where you feel most at home, you’ll want a program and a college that give you as much opportunity to breathe fresh air, feel cool water, soak in the sun and connect with growing things. We get that.

That’s why we have more than 150 acres of campus and more than 1,000 acres of managed land for you to stretch your legs and practice your skills. With fields, forests, rivers, ponds and hills for you to explore, SUNY Morrisville provides a whole world for you to discover a top-notch education and heed a call back to nature.

They say variety is the spice of life, and we’ve got plenty of it in our environmental conservation and renewable energy programs and facilities. Visit our Aquaculture Center and see a variety of fish and marine life in our ponds and tanks. Enter our greenhouses and high tunnel to smell growing plants and vegetables throughout the year. Check out the Wildlife Museum to see animals from five continents. Walk through our arboretum or take a relaxing stroll on the Callahan Brook Nature Trail along the headwaters of the Chenango River. Visit our climbing and installation facilities that give you great practice before you do the real thing.

Harness the power of the elements. Develop your knowledge of the earth and strengthen the necessary skills to contribute to a sustainable future. Know that SUNY Morrisville is ready to help you make this a whole new world.
