Weekly Testing Requirements

Students and employees who are fully vaccinated and provide documentation showing completion of a full vaccination series are no longer required to participate in weekly surveillance testing. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated or who prefer not to provide proof of vaccination remain required to test weekly.

As defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), people are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine.

To Be Exempt from Testing:

SUNY Morrisville students and employees can immediately begin providing documentation showing completion of a full vaccination series to be exempt from testing. Students should upload a copy of their vaccination card to Blackboard through the course labeled “Mustangs: Stamping Out COVID,” or provide a copy to the Student Health Center either via email to stellda@morrisville.edu or dropped off in person. Employees also can upload a copy of their vaccination card to Blackboard through the Mustangs Employees - Stamping Out COVID course (administered solely by the Office of Human Resources), or provide a copy via email to the Office of Human Resources at humanresources@morrisville.edu.

Students and employees will be automatically enrolled in the Blackboard course. To upload your document, sign in to Blackboard using your Morrisville login information through the links above and follow the on-screen instructions.

Required Weekly Testing

For any students and employees who have a physical presence on campus and who are not fully vaccinated or who prefer not to provide proof of vaccination, required weekly surveillance testing continues for the Fall 2021 semester.

ATTENTION: Please review our updates to testing requirements for the week of Fall Break Oct. 11-12 and the week of Oct. 18-19.
