Blackboard Checklist Workshop for all Faculty
Date and Time: Thursday, August 19, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In-person: Charlton 125
Description: It is an in-person and hands-on workshop for all faculty. Participants could follow the course design checklist to develop their Blackboard courses. Once they have any questions on Blackboard, there are multiple Blackboard experts to assist the participants. Please bring your laptop and your course design questions to join in the workshop.
Questionnaire for LMS Transition
As many of you may know, SUNY's system-wide contract for its Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) expires on December 21, 2022. We will still use Blackboard before the expiration date.
To prepare for this LMS Transition and gather faculty and staff feedback, concerns, and questions, the Educational Technology Committee, a College Senate Standing Committee, and the Workforce and Educational Development Area would like to gather information to help discuss this fall 2021 and plan for the local LMS change after December 2022.

The Questionnaire should be completed prior to Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
We will have two further meetings which are open to all faculty and staff to discuss questionnaire feedback and provide SUNY System Updates.
