As we approach Fall Break on Oct. 11-12, please see below for important updates to our COVID-19 pooled saliva testing schedule during the next two weeks.
Testing During Fall Break Oct. 11-12
During Fall Break next week, all residential students who are currently required to test weekly AND who remain on campus during break will be required to participate in testing on Tuesday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in Helyar Hall. Students who are currently required to test weekly but will be away and off campus for Fall Break are exempt from testing this coming week. There also is no student testing being held at the Norwich Campus during this week.
Please note that there will be no testing held during the holiday on Monday, Oct. 11.
Testing Requirements for Students Oct. 18-19
For the week immediately following Fall Break, ALL RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS, regardless of vaccination status, must participate in testing on either Oct. 18 or Oct. 19 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in Helyar Hall. This surveillance testing is critical to campus safety as residents return to Morrisville.
COMMUTER STUDENTS who are currently required to test weekly also must participate in testing on either Oct. 18 or Oct. 19 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in Helyar Hall. All commuter students, regardless of vaccination status, are encouraged to participate in testing during either of these days as well.
NORWICH CAMPUS STUDENTS who are required to test weekly also will return with testing opportunities each Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
